GT Horse Of The Month (May) “Heatherton Park Romeo” (GT Romeo)

Heatherton Park Romeo born 2005 sired by Routinier out of Kerry Dancer xx. Owned and ridden by Holly Lewis.

Romeo’s sire Routinier

Routinier was born in the Oldenburg region of Germany on July 28, 1995. He was licensed in 1997 and approved in 1999 at the 100 day stallion performance testing in Neustadt/Dosse, Germany. Routinier received two 10.0s and six 9.0s at his 100 day test: 10.0s for “Willingness to Perform” and “Overall Ability to Perform” and 9.0s for “Temperament”, “Character”, “Rideability”, “Trot”, “Canter”, and “Jumping (U/S)”.Routinier foals are athletic and noble; distinguished in conformation, type, beauty and brilliant movement in all three gaits. They consistently carry their sire’s intelligence, kindness and eagerness to please; all around easy going foals with personality plus. Both Routinier & his offspring have high rideability and trainability. Talented enough for the professional yet suitable and uncomplicated enough for the amateur.

Kerry Dancer is sired by the Bletchingly son Shedad and out of the mare Mighty Elegant. Kerry Dancer is also the mother of GT Papillon(Perpignon) owned by Jeanette and Jessica Greelish and the grandam of GT Lily(APH Ludo) owned by Bennet Conn. GT Lily is currently in foal to Belissimo M.

Romeo 3 days old.

“Romeo” was the highest scoring ACE foal on tour in 2006. He has continued his journey along the path of success with wins and placings in YH classes through to Elementary,the level he is currently competing. We look forward to watching the journey of Romeo & Holly.

GT Horse Of The Month (April) “Wisteria Lane”

“Wisteria Lane” sired by Kaptain Imp(Clintino/Sandro) out of Argyle(Belcam Aatlantis)   Owned and ridden by Niki Rose.

 

Wisteria Lane has beautiful paces and a good jump.  Wisteria Lane placed 2nd at her first Intro start.  She won three prelim starts in a row and then moved to Pre Novice level, she has numerous Pre Novice wins including the Sydney Pre Novice Three Day Event and NSW State Championships at Goulburn in 2010. 

In 2011 Wisteria Lane moved up to One Star and placed 3rd at her first attempt at this level with just time penalties cross country dropping her from the top spot.

Wisteria Lane has also won at official dressage.  She is an exciting prospect for the future.  She was selected as a member of the National Talent Search Squad in 2009.

In March 2012 Wisteria Lane placed 2nd at Camden Show in the 1.15mtr class and placed 7th at Scone CNC 1* ridden by Shane Rose.

GT Horse Of The Month (March) “Bellini”(aka Bardot)

“Bellini” sired by Bon Bonaparte out of Makaroff Galinka. Ridden and owned by Amy Griffiths.

Bon Bonaparte is a son of the famous dressage sire Bolero. The chestnut stallion was successfully presented in Grand Prix dressage competition and passes on his advanced level talent and rideability to his progeny. His famous son Bonaparte, ridden by Heike Kemmer, was one of the greatest talents in the international dressage arena, and was a member of the German team at the European Championships. Bred by Hermann Meyer, breeder of Weltmeyer, Bon Bonaparte’s pedigree offers breeders close-up Wendekreiss and Graf, in addition to the hard-to-find blood of Bolero. He is a noted sire of excellent temperament.

Bellini’s mother the very beautiful Makaroff Galinka was by Makaroff Gordost (Grannus II/Daktylus) out of Belcam Aangel (Aachen/GrannusII). A 5 star producing mare who sadly passed away last year.

Bellini is an Elite mare with ACE and was highest scoring mare on tour in 2010. Recent success has been. Tasmanian HOTY 2012 Top 5 Open Small Hack and carried Champion 16yo-18yo Ashleigh McSherry ROTY – qualified for Nationals. Wins and placings this year in Dressage with scores over 70% at Novice level.

GT Horse Of The Month (February) “Carilion M”

“Carilion M” Sire: Cabdula Du Tillard Dam: GT Confetti(Contango II/GT Gemma)          Owned by David and Lisa Manuel and ridden by  Sheridan Manuel.

Cabdula Du Tillard the very best of the France with the best of Germany. One of France’s ‘elite’ stallions, consistently producing winning jumping horses that are pleasant to ride. Breeding doesn’t get better than Cabdula du Tillard.

 

His sire is the Olympic individual showjumping silver medallist, Abdullah and his dam, Quanagra is a FULL SISTER to the legendary jumping stallion, Jalisco! Jalisco was an Olympic competitor himself and is the sire of World Champion, Quito de Baussy and the most expensive jumping sire in the world – Quidam de Revel. Cabdula has winners all over Europe.

Carilion M had a very sccessful debut season(2011) in D grade,consistently jumping double clear for placings. In August 2011 at Toowoomba World Cup, Carilion M qualified 3rd in the D grade Championships and finished 3rd in the Final.
At Caboolture World Cup she won the D grade qualifier and finished 2nd in the Championship.
At Glenhaven Park Grand Prix Show Carilion M won the Barastoc Final for 6 and 7 yr olds, she only qualified the day before. Carilion M was the only horse to  jump 2 double clear rounds,with some very experienced company in the jump off. Carilion M steps up to C grade this season.

A very talented mare with a very exciting future.
